Mandala means circle; working in a circle is very healing. It brings us back to harmony, wholeness and balance. Karl Jung’s idea was that through regularly painting mandalas, people could create a dialogue between their “true self” and their “ego,” integrating the two over time.

A mandala is a spiritual and ritual symbol representing the universe. They are used for focusing attention, as a spiritual guidance tool for establishing a sacred space and as an aid to meditation.
